By registering as a Beatafrik Producer, you agree to the terms of this Producer Agreement. A Beat is any instrumental or audio work you upload. A License grants a Buyer the right to use a beat under specific terms. Exclusive Rights means a beat is sold to a single buyer and removed from further sale. A Non-Exclusive License means the beat can be sold to multiple buyers. The Marketplace is Beatafrik itself.
As a producer, you must provide accurate information, maintain secure account credentials, be legally able to enter into this agreement, provide correct payment details, and maintain professional conduct on the marketplace. You're responsible for all activity under your account.
You retain full ownership of your original music. Uploading a beat to Beatafrik does not transfer copyright ownership to us. By uploading, you grant Beatafrik permission to display, promote, distribute, and facilitate sales of your beats through the platform. You must own, or otherwise control, all rights necessary to upload your content.
By uploading, you guarantee that you created the beat (or have permission to use every element in it), that any samples, loops, vocals, or third-party materials are properly cleared, and that your uploads don't violate copyright law. You are responsible for any copyright claims that result from your content.
Every upload should include accurate information, the correct genre/category, correct licensing details, high-quality audio files, and appropriate artwork. The following are never allowed: stolen beats, unauthorized samples, copyright-infringing material, or misleading content.
You control your own licensing options — Basic Lease, Premium Lease, Unlimited License, and Exclusive Rights. Buyers receive usage rights according to whichever license they purchase. Purchasing a license does not automatically transfer copyright; exclusive sales may transfer specific rights, exactly as described in the exclusive agreement for that sale.
When you sell exclusive rights to a beat, you may no longer sell that same beat to new buyers. Previous non-exclusive licenses already sold generally remain valid unless otherwise agreed. What exactly transfers ownership-wise depends on the specific terms of that exclusive sale.
You earn income from your approved sales. Beatafrik charges a marketplace commission on each transaction, and your revenue is calculated based on completed sales after that commission. Taxes and any other personal financial obligations are entirely your own responsibility.

You must provide valid payout information to receive earnings. Minimum withdrawal limits may apply, processing times may vary, and any transaction flagged as suspicious may be reviewed before payment is released.
You grant Beatafrik a limited license to display your beats, create previews, promote your producer profile, market the platform generally, and process transactions on your behalf. Beatafrik does not own your music — this license only covers what's necessary to operate the marketplace.
Beatafrik may feature producer profiles, promote beats, share previews, and include your content in our own marketing and advertising. Where appropriate, we'll credit you as the producer.
Producers agree not to upload stolen content, manipulate sales, create fake accounts, mislead buyers, circumvent Beatafrik transactions, or harass other users.
Don't use Beatafrik to connect with a buyer and then complete the actual transaction outside the platform to avoid marketplace fees. This undermines the marketplace and violates this agreement.
Beatafrik may suspend or remove producer accounts for copyright violations, fraud, abuse, policy violations, or repeated complaints from buyers.
Disputes between producers and Beatafrik, or between producers and buyers, are handled through an investigation process: both sides submit relevant evidence, and Beatafrik reviews the situation to reach a fair resolution.
We protect your business information, payment details, and private communications, and expect the same discretion from you regarding any confidential information you access through the platform.
Beatafrik provides the marketplace technology. Producers are responsible for their own content and the rights they claim to it. Beatafrik is not responsible for the independent actions of any individual producer.
Beatafrik may update this agreement from time to time, and we'll notify producers of any important changes.
Producers may close their own account at any time. Beatafrik may terminate an account for violations of this agreement. Either way, licenses already purchased by buyers remain subject to their original terms.
